Yuenthai Philippines Continues to Make Waves in the Annual adidas Run for the Oceans

(July 10, 2019) – For the second year in a row, employees of YTI Cebu laced up their shoes to Run for the Oceans, a global movement spearheaded by adidas to harness the power of sports to raise awareness on the threat of marine plastic pollution and inspire positive action.

Over 100 runners, led by Marilet Zuniga and the YTI Management Team, gathered at the Mactan Export Processing Zone in Cebu, Philippines last June 9 to complete a five kilometer route. For every kilometer logged in, adidas will donate $1 to the Parley Ocean School to educate kids in protecting the ocean.

Gavin Robbins, adidas Director of Sourcing Operations, welcomed the participants and talked about adidas programs relating to environment. Mary Ann Latosquin, Merchandiser of adidas Sourcing Apparel, delivered the closing message.

YTI has been a co-organizer of adidas Run for the Ocean since 2018. Sportscity is a co-organizer of this event.

阿迪達斯年度海洋公益賽跑，

菲律賓元泰集團再度積極參與

(2019年7月10日）--菲律賓宿霧元泰集團員工再度穿上運動鞋，參加由阿迪達斯組織的全球保護海洋賽跑活動。活動旨在通過體育的力量，提高人們對塑膠污染對海洋威脅的認識，激發民眾積極保護海洋的行動。

6月9日，超過100多名參賽者，在Marilet Zuniga和元泰集團管理團隊的帶領下，齊聚菲律賓宿務的Mactan出口加工區，開始了全程5公里的賽跑。每跑完1公里，阿迪達斯就會向Parley海洋學校捐贈1美元，用於對孩子們進行海洋保護教育。

阿迪達斯採購運營總監Gavin Robbins向參賽者表示熱烈歡迎，並向大家介紹了阿迪達斯與環境有關的活動項目。阿迪達斯服裝採購跟單Mary Ann Latosquin致閉幕詞。

元泰集團自2018年來，成為了阿迪達斯保護海洋公益賽跑活動的合作單位；體育城公司也共同參與協辦此次活動。
