Yuenthai Cebu wins adidas North Asia Grit Award

In the recently concluded adidas North Asia Year-End Meeting held last January 14, Yuenthai Philippines was recognized for its leadership amidst exceptionally challenging business environment, and was given the acclaimed adidas North Asia GRIT AWARD.
adidas North Asia specifically recognized Yuenthai Philippines for achieving its highest possible GASA score and ranking in 2021. GASA is a system by which adidas bases its sourcing and allocation decisions. Furthermore, the award acknowledged the team’s resilience in achieving top results in all different business categories.
The adidas North Asia Year-End Meeting, held online, was attended by various Tier 1
(Manufacturing) and Tier 2 (Materials) suppliers across Greater China (Shanghai and
Guangzhou), Japan, and Philippines.
Yuenthai Philippines’ commitment to deliver despite quarantines, lockdowns, and other more business interruptions brought about by COVID19 earned them the GRIT AWARD. The eXtraOrdinary spirit and tenacity of Yuenthai Philippines exemplify grit indeed.

adidas Manufacturing Excellence team also recognized Yuenthai Philippines for its Efficiency Improvement for 2021.
DDSLT (Yuenthai Dandong) was awarded the highest rating of 5C for Social Compliance.
In an earlier and separate adidas South Asia awarding ceremony in December 2021, Suntex (Yuenthai Cambodia) won three out of six awards: Digital Award, Sustainability Award, and, Most Valuable Partner (awarded to Kelvin Su).
Raymond Tan, CEO of Luenthai, commended Yuenthai Cebu for its incredible recovery
progress in 4 weeks, after being hit by super typhoon Rai. He said that the GRIT award
demonstrates our XO culture’s perseverance and strength of character.
