Luenthai Meets New Clark Development Corporation Head

(March 9, 2021) – Luenthai recently paid a virtual courtesy call to retired brigadier general Manuel Gaerlan who assumed the position of president and CEO of Clark Development Corporation, which manages Clark Freeport Zone, in January 2021.

Frank Sauceda introduced the company to General Gaerlan, discussing Luenthai’s global operations in apparel and accessories manufacturing; its Philippine experience and the capabilities of business units in the country—Verte and Yuenthai; as well as its venture into the PPE business, highlighting its investments in sustainable fashion technology. Frank also presented the company’s sustainability and corporate social responsibility initiatives, emphasizing our partnership with Tuloy and how we help empower our people to help and give Tuloy kids a brighter future with our various programs.

General Gaerlan was impressed by the company’s PPE capability and believed that even after the vaccines are rolled out, people will still continue to wear masks and PPEs. He also thanked Luenthai for continuing operations and supporting its people despite the pandemic.

The two heads expressed support for one another and promised to meet face to face soon as conditions are safe.

联泰高管与新任克拉克开发集团主席线上会晤

（2021年3月9日）-近日，联泰集团领导人宋法临先生向刚从2021年1月退役后并继任克拉克开发集团总裁兼CEO的Manny Gaerlan将军进行了在线互动。克拉克开发集团负责克拉克自由贸易区的管理。

宋法临先生向Gaerlan将军向介绍了联泰集团的近况，包括联泰的时装服饰生产业务的全球发展，Verte和元泰在菲律宾的成功经验和生产能力等。宋法临先生还推介了公司在健康防疫用品的生产业务，并着重突出了联泰在可持续时尚技术方面的投资。同时，他还提到了公司在可持续发展以及社会责任中取得的成绩，重点介绍了联泰与Tuloy基金会的伙伴关系，以及公司员工在帮助Tuloy基金会少年开创美好未来所作出的各种努力。

Gaerlan将军对我公司在个人防疫用品的生产表现出极大的兴趣。他相信，随着疫苗接种，疫情结束之后，人们依然会佩戴口罩和其他防疫用品。他对联泰在疫情之下依然坚持生产，助力人们的企业精神表示感谢。
