Luenthai Cup Celebrates 4 Years of Extraordinary Passion for Football and Helping Children

(March 18, 2019) – The 4th annual fundraiser for the benefit of Tuloy Foundation successfully hosted over 100 teams in an extraordinary display of passion for football and giving back to community.

Tuloy Foundation Founder Fr. Rocky Evangelista, SDB kicked-off the event by highlighting the importance of sports in the daily lives of youth. He reminded the kids to play fairly by treating all the games with respect as it is the real essence of sportsmanship and of being an eXtraOrdinary Kid.

Some of the organizations who partnered with Luenthai were Anta Sports and Active Wear, Yuenthai, Globe, Del Monte, Purefoods, Magnolia, and Clark Development Corporation. Services like first-aid, free use of field, packed meals and drinking water, and tents for the participating teams were sponsored. This year’s event gathered the highest funds from the past years.

Present in the event were Luenthai executives, Air Force officers, and local government officials.

Luenthai Cup is the first and biggest football for a cause tournament in Luzon. It is part of the Luenthai Football School which offers free football training to less fortunate children in the community and employee dependents. In four years, the tournament was able to raise funds that benefits orphaned and underprivileged children.

第四屆“聯泰盃”慶賀為足球與幫助兒童的非凡激情

Tuloy基金會創始人Fr. Rocky Evangelista，SDB通過強調體育在青少年日常生活中的重要性，宣佈開始了這一活動。他提醒孩子們通過尊重所有比賽來公平競賽，因為這是體育精神的真正本質，也是成為一名非凡兒童的精神。

與聯泰共同合作的一些組織包括Anta Sports和Active Wear，Yuenthai，Globe，Del Monte，Purefoods，Magnolia和Clark Development Corporation。他們贊助了諸如急救，免費場地，包裝食品和飲用水以及參與團隊使用的帳篷等服務。今年的活動募集了過去幾年來的最高資金。

聯泰盃是呂宋島地區第一個也是最大的足球賽。它也是聯泰足球學校的一部分，為社區中不幸的孩子和員工家屬提供免費的足球訓練。在四年中，這一賽事能夠籌集資金，使孤兒和貧困兒童從中受益。
