Luenthai and Tuloy Creating More Opportunities for eXtraOrdinary Kids through Football

(April 16, 2019) – Tuloy Foundation (Tuloy) and Luenthai continue to build sustainable XO KIDS program by partnering with a local government unit serving free football training, and providing coaching and refereeing opportunities for long time Tuloy players.

Free football sessions were held at the Tuloy “XO Field” Alabang and a culminating activity was organized to cap the program. Some 200 players from nearby barangays participated.

The program also allowed long-time Tuloy players to learn coaching and refereeing. Players who were tasked to coach were given the opportunity to handle, motivate, and manage their teams during the culminating activity. Tuloy player-referees were taught and tasked to master the rules of the game by running the matches on their respective field. They were all mentored by current Tuloy coaches.

Luenthai CEO Raymond Tan, who concurrently chairs Tuloy says, “The aspiration of Tuloy is to transform lives through sports and performing arts. With this, I can say that I am proud of getting involved as a partner of this organization.” He also believes that these activities help bring children closer to their families and build greater connection.

The free football sessions started in September 2018 and hopes to continue the program until summer this year.

Tuloy plans to hire four Assistant Coaches from its alumni, in support of its homegrown talents. Equally interesting is the recent selection of six players for the national pool of U15 Girls Football Team.

足球，讓聯泰與Tuloy基金為非凡兒童創造更多機遇

(2019年4月16日）Tuloy基金會、聯泰集團與當地政府機構合作，為非凡兒童關愛項目的持續發展，提供免費的足球培訓；並為Tuloy的長期球員提供教練和裁判培訓機會。

免費培訓課程在Alabang地區的Tuloy“XO 足球場”進行，而這裡組織的足球比賽更是掀起了活動的高潮。來自barangays附近大約有200名球員參加了比賽。

比賽活動也讓Tuloy的長期球員有機會充當教練和裁判，讓他們在比賽和活動中處理、激勵和管理他們的球隊。 Tuloy球隊的裁判員在現任教練的指導下，通過在各自的賽場上進行比賽，來掌握比賽規則。

聯泰集團CEO兼現任Tuloy基金會主席陳祖龍先生表示，“Tuloy的精神，是通過運動和表演藝術，改變生命。憑藉這份信念，我為自己能成為這個組織的一員而深感自豪。”他堅信，這些活動能夠幫助孩子們與家庭之間建立更為親密的關係。

免費培訓課程自2018年9月開始，有望持續至今年暑期。

Tuloy計畫從內部的隊伍中招聘4名助理教練，以幫助當地人才發展。近期，他們還為U15國家女子足球隊選送了6名球員，令人驚喜。
