Local Government Heads Visit Luenthai Employees in Clark for “Cooperation Day”

(March 5, 2020) – – Local government units (LGUs) in Pampanga, Philippines led by Governor Dennis Pineda met with Luenthai employees at Clark Freeport Zone today to talk about the importance of partnership in building a productive community.

Dubbed “Cooperation Day,” the event highlighted vital roles of companies, employees, and government in strengthening the community. It is a first of its kind in Clark and in the province wherein business and local government have come together to express cooperation. It is hoped that this will serve as a model for local government and business to work in partnership for the benefit of the communities.

Mayors Carmelo Lazatin Jr. (Angeles City) and Chris Garbo (Mabalacat) also took the opportunity to address their constituents and update them on the various services being offered in their areas, including a district hospital in Clark, commissaries at entry points of the Clark Freeport Zone, and scholarship programs.

Immediately following the assembly was the groundbreaking of the Luenthai CARE Multipurpose Cooperative Store, which is targeted to launch on the first half of 2020.

Present during the event to lead the Luenthai community were Chief Operating Officer for Corporate Apparel Frank Sauceda and Senior Vice President for Verte Evelyn Mandani.

克拉克政府要员探望联泰员工，济济一堂欢度“共建日”

2020年3月5日-菲律宾潘潘加省（Pampanga）地方政府部门的官员在州长丹尼斯·皮内达（Dennis Pineda）的带领下，于当日来到位于克拉克自由港区的联泰工厂，探望了公司全体员工。双方代表在一起探讨了政企伙伴关系在打造生产型社区中的重要性。

本次活动被称之为“共建日”，充分展示了在进一步加强社区建设中，企业、员工和政府各自的重要作用。这是克拉克地方政府和商界齐心协力，共同合作的首秀；也希望以此为契机，打造一个地方和企业紧密合作、造福社区的典范。

Angeles市的卡梅洛·拉扎丁（Carmelo Lazatin Jr.）市长和Mabalacat市的克里斯·加尔波（Chris Garbo）市长分别在会上发表讲话，他们向与会人员介绍了各自地区所提供的各种服务，包括克拉克的地区医院、克拉克自由港区入境处的餐饮中心，以及奖学金计划等。

随后进行了联泰CARE多功能合作商店的奠基仪式，该店计划于2020年上半年正式开业。

联泰时装部首席运营官宋法临（Frank Sauceda）先生和Verte高级执行总裁Evelyn Mandani小姐出席了本次联泰社区共建活动。
