ALO, currently one of the fastest growing players in the athleisure-fashion space today, visited Verte Clark and YTI Cebu this July 21 and 22. Represented by Jessica Roberti and Kathryn McDermott, the VP of Product Development and Supply Chain and Sr. Manager of Product Development, the ALO team toured both facilities to see our products and check our capabilities.
Jessica and Kathryn were impressed with our facility's diversity of products, great needlework, quality, organization, digitalization, and teamwork. Verte-GJM is already producing products for ALO, however, the account and production are now being transferred to YTI Cebu as this brand is better aligned to Cebu’s product capability.
ALO extended their satisfaction upon seeing the dynamics of people from both BU’s working harmoniously, showing how Verte-GJM and Yuenthai act with unity as Luenthai. They also appreciated the extra mile exerted by both Clark and Cebu teams in welcoming them and making sure they had a valuable and productive visit.
ALO is a fast-growing brand with a loyal customer base. They started as an online brand selling yoga apparel in 2007 before venturing into athleisure fashion in 2021. They make an annual revenue of $200 million and are slated to expand worldwide. They currently have 13 branches in the US and are poised to open half a dozen outlets globally. Earlier this year, they opened outlet stores in Canada and are expected to expand their reach in various global centers like London, Paris, and Dubai.
ALO’s expansion sparked an interest to source with Luenthai and the Philippines. We see a great opportunity with ALO because they are not price-oriented and they value our quality and capability including our other brand experiences. Here, we have a customer with a mutual good fit, and an ongoing partnership that is aligned with our transformation in Cebu in fashion.
